of interviewing my friend Ann Swindell. Ann is an author and speaker whose first book,

Still Waiting, Hope for When God Doesn't Give You What You Want, just released with

Tendill House Publishers. Her work has appeared in tons of publications like The Gospel Coalition,

Christianity Today Women, Relevant, Deeply Ruted, Desiring God, Darling Magazine, Encourage,

and Lots of Others. She's passionate about helping other writers tell their stories

powerfully, and I can totally testify to that. I actually sat under Ann's teaching via

her online writing course, Writing with Grace, which we'll talk about in the interview.

I'm so excited just to have it with us today on the Journey Women Podcast to share her

story of waiting and to help us better understand how we can share our stories in light of
