I'm so excited about this morning we're doing today part two of waiting here for you.

We're talking about waiting on the Lord and reminding this week of this phrase that the Lord sort of

put in our hearts when we're doing our Advent series before at the end of last year

that we're waiting on the Lord. All of us are waiting on the Lord by the way.

In fact, if you're not waiting on the Lord, something's probably not working right for you

because there's no point in life for any of us where we get to this place and go,

I'm not waiting for God to do anything else in my life. There's no one else I wanted to touch.

There's nothing else He needs to do in me. There's no other gap that I'm hoping He can close

because I don't have the solution here. There's no more wisdom that I want Him to impart to me.

Of course, we're all waiting on God for something. But the beauty of it is this.

We're waiting on the Lord with the Lord. So it's not like we're waiting for the Lord to come through the door with something.

We're just waiting for the Lord to reveal what He already sees about our lives to us.

But while we're waiting, we're waiting with Him. Okay, so that's good news today.

So if there's something not yet in your life and I'm assuming there is.

In fact, Henry would say there's something not yet in my life.

There's something out there that I'm still dreaming about, praying about, hoping about.

All of us are there today. There's something not yet in our lives.

But waiting for the not yet isn't a solitary thing.

Waiting for the not yet is something that we do with God Almighty.

He's with us and lives in us through the power of His Spirit and the person of Jesus Christ.

So as we're waiting on God, we're waiting with God.

Now that's just like the coolest theology I can think about today.
