We are, in fact, ending a boy meets girl today.

And as we talk about the marriage myth,

I just want to put some ideas out there for us to consider

because I think that what the culture has done

is this really jacked up the idea of marriage

and then what the culture didn't do we did.

So a lot of your parents have jacked up the idea of marriage

for you pretty royally, so you're processing that.

And then God speaks into marriage

and so now we've got that on the table

and we've got all these factors out there.

And I want to make sure, especially all of you guys

that are in the pre-marriage window of life,

just think about what's ahead of you.

That you don't take what the culture says.

You don't necessarily take what your parents have modeled for you.

You don't take what you've seen on television

or seen in the movies or read in magazines.

Some of the most, I think maybe the most expensive magazine

you can buy and I didn't bring one today

because I just couldn't bring myself to go and do it,

but I've done it in the past.
