arresting 19 people crossing the streams, sword fighting. They were 200 to 300

people at the event in Cold Springs.

The initial call to the San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office was for animal cruelty.

They get these roosters and they'll get them, they breed them, they train them, and they train them to fight and win.

Deputies came across the large-scale illegal cockfighting operation in the one-under-block of Maxine Road in Cleveland.

There was probably 250 to 300 people hit the woods running.

19 people were arrested. One was charged with felony participating in a cock fight.

We also seized $27,000 in cash off of those 19 people. One man had over $6,000 in his personal possession.

43 vehicles were seized some high-end.

Deputies say they found cockfighting paraphernalia, including gaffes which are razor sharp miniature knife-like

objects steroids and syringes 96 live roosters were turned over to a non-profit organization.

The message, Sheriff Capa says he's sending animal cruelty will not be tolerated in San Joseo

County.

I didn't know this until two years ago when roosters wake you up what they actually say is

cock-a-doodle-dule!
