We're now at war with Iran, thanks to this narrative about nuclear weapons.

And the consequences for the entire world may be disastrous.

But plenty of top Democrats have bought into this pro-war narrative, too. In his statement about Trump's Iran strikes, Gavin Newsom, who's supposedly a presidential frontrunner,

began by saying that the Iranian regime must never have nuclear weapons. The leadership of Iran must go.

And in his own statement, Josh Shapiro repeated that very same mantra, saying that Iran must never

be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. Both of them, believe the same thing, that the United States

should control access to nuclear arms worldwide, dictating who is and isn't allowed in the nuclear

club, and that the United States should violently punish any nation that tries to develop nuclear weapons without U.S. approval.

In that way, they're exactly the same as Trump.

They don't actually disagree with Trump's goals, only the way he pursues them.
