I took another test on Monday and it was negative too, but the bleeding was a little less.

Tuesday morning I took another test at 12 days past ovulation when the test is 85% accurate, and the test was negative. But the spotting

had stopped. So I was confused, but trying not to think about it too much. I tracked it all up to the fact that

my coochie had been through a whole lot this cycle, that painful HSG test, the bleeding from that afterwards,

the yeast infection, the early bleeding, the bruised cervix,

it was a lot. The next day, Wednesday, the day after I put out last week's episode, I took another

P test. I left the room and forgot all about it. Remember 10 minutes later and went into the bathroom

to take a peek and lo and behold, the test was positive. I think? Here's what I saw.

The control line was solid, as it always is. And then right next to it was like a very, very faint

line. And as I learned from Shelby Gale, the surrogate, a line is a line. Is a line is a line. A line means

you have HCG in your system and HCG is only produced in your placenta. And if you have a

placenta, then you have a fucking embryo in there. Sorry, I didn't mean to use the F word, you know, to describe an embryo. That was not cool.

Anyway, I wasn't expecting that. I called my mama.
