I thought, okay, I can't get my legs back.

You know, I can't control what happened. But what I can control is the way I think

about it and what I'm going to do with it. And the way I think about it, whether I look at it as this

horrible thing or something horrible happened to me and I'm a victim, you know, I can choose to look at it

that way or I can choose

to do something with this. Like, this is my situation now. So what am I going to do with it? And what can

I still do? There's so much I can still do, you know? At that point, I wasn't sure if I'd be

able to snowboard again. I didn't know. I loved working out. Like, it's always been kind of every day ever since

I was 12 years old. I got a gym pass and I worked out every single day. And I'm like, I don't know

if I'm going to be able to go back and do what I've always done. But I can embrace where I'm at
