Welcome back to the Lantern Rouge cycling podcast for the final stage of the VW presented by Zwift.

Now, this isn't the VW to recap. We'll do that in full tomorrow. This is purely the recap of stage 21.

Not much to talk about, really.

Although much, much better, I think than the sort of Tour de France chance to leave the stage for a number of reasons related to the riders.

96 kilometres long and it's a little bit uphill this finish. It's not perfectly flat. Of course, no categorised climbs.

There is a bonus sprint with about 47 kilometres to go.

Before the stage, Enric Mass was in fifth, I think, in the points classification, only a few points behind Avidapol and Mark Soleil.

As points, UCI points available for third in that competition.

So we'll see what happens at that intermediate sprint. But before we get into it, a word on our show partners.
