| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to the Lantern Rouge Cycling Podcast here with Benji Nass and as always this show is supported by our show partner LeCold who produced performance cycling apparel just of well to recap today. |
| 0:12.0 | We had a TT in a third visit level to challenge who will wrap into tomorrow's episode as well as just a sprint in Benelux tour today in the world to stage 19 from Tapia to Montforto. |
| 0:24.0 | They had their last transition stage but a bit hillier than sort of the stage 19 transition stages you'd see in the Tour de France, 191 cases long. |
| 0:32.0 | And they climbed for the first 60 cases just about there's 20 cases of about 5% to open the stage of climbing with a short descent in the middle and they do another 12 cases at 4%. |
| 0:45.0 | So favourite for the stage is sort of favourite as we had it was Badgeoli, Ontario's Crone, Magnus Court, Michael Matthews, maybe Dynase, the likely that Yakuza will get dropped on that climb. |
| 0:56.0 | And yeah we had a pretty big fight for the break in that climb where court was allowed to go in it once again Benji. |
| 1:03.0 | Is he, he must just be a master of it just being able to get in these breaks or on the climb as in not really much you can do. |
| 1:10.0 | I think it's a combination of both things, obviously he has killed at it, we've seen him do it quite a bit of times now. |
| 1:15.0 | Next to that, which team is he up against? Let's first say, the most obvious sprint team here at the kerning, they have to make sure that Yakuza tries to survive the climb in the first place |
| 1:26.0 | so they can never pace behind the break away because they need to make sure that the temp was low enough for them to stay with Yakuza and then try and bring him back. |
| 1:35.0 | And then you've got the next two riders in line, like a Dynase and so forth. Same story, they have to have their entire team try and get Dynase over the climb or put someone else in the break way of their team themselves. |
| 1:46.0 | And then you get to the teams like a bike exchange for Matthews. That's a team that I think could have done more this stage in preventing court for being in the break away or making sure that whenever court is in the break, get matches in the break as well. |
| 2:01.0 | But yeah, the break away formed with, well, it was step by step that it formed, there wasn't initially that just one group exploded at the front there was one group now. |
| 2:11.0 | Just a few people bridging there bridging there and we had a pretty big group, including Magnus code, like you said, we had a team at as well, loss and credo again. |
| 2:19.0 | I think that's a very important factor on the stage and other riders in that group did not have that like a Cron was in there as well. |
| 2:27.0 | But Joli was in there as well, Rio Levera, Quinn Simmons, we had the likes of putting in the break as well, Anthony, who Nicodens, to Zé Soto. |
| 2:38.0 | And I think those were the names of the ones that were the most notable names in my eyes when I saw the break away for. |
| 2:46.0 | And we saw that in that break away, there's like one rider of the exam Nicodens. |
| 2:55.0 | And in the peloton, we see that Jacob's is dropping, but dynasty is not dropping. |
| 3:01.0 | And we start noticing that the exam starts spacing in the peloton to try and keep the tempo up behind this break away. |
| 3:08.0 | You think that it's a mistake not giving Dan the chance already, you think that you should focus on the near dynasty on the stage, if he's over the climb. |
| 3:17.0 | If he gets over the climb perfectly rational strategy, he's probably the quickest sprinter left in that group. |
