very important time trial we have so many close gc gaps for third for first and second for the white

jersey it is the tightest gaps we've got across the top 10 of i would say any of the grand tours

this season and recent seasons especially with so many spots open.

That being said, it's been a heavily amended grand tour and today was no different.

With another stage amended this time with a bit more notice, the TT was reduced from 27

kilometers to 12.2Ks, so they just made it a much

smaller circuit. They're invalidolid. That's for reasons of the protests. So they were like,

we can only secure 12.2Ks of the course of the quick math, it's less than half, the original

length of the TT. and I'd also say if you start cracking in a

TT the longer it is the time loss can be not just proportional to it being a bit longer so

if one rider's stronger you can't be like oh well they well, they would have only gained, double, say,

the amount of time they gained on a short TT.

I mean, if a rider started fading in this TT, maybe the time losses would have been exponentially

more, logarithmically more, who knows?

Anything else pre-stage Benji before I do the results?

I think just in general we had a feeling of okay what's going to happen in this time trial, even with a 27-kilometer time trial in mind. I do think that changed towards a 12-kilometer time trial matters for certain riders.
