And this week, we are joined by Aidan Kenkioku.

Aden is a researcher focused on developing new strategies for the social movement wing of the farmed animal advocacy space.

He co-founded Pax Fana for that purpose in 2021, which led in 2023 to the launch of pro-animal

future, marrying the mass grassroots energy of the animal rights movement with a sober

political strategy.

And since getting started as a community organizer with direct action everywhere in Colorado

in 2015, Aiden has been immersed in studying the craft of disruptive mass movements.

So excited that you're here.

I'm thrilled to have you back. You are not that long ago. I looked up, it actually was a year ago. It was last September, which seems surprising because it seems like it was only a few months ago. We'll have to make a tradition out of it. Yes. Yeah, true. Happy anniversary. Thank you. Thank you. All right. So one of my goals is to not repeat that interview because people can obviously go listen to it, which I highly recommend. But we didn't get to what's happening in Denver very specifically. We mentioned it, but didn't go into it. And now it's actually happening in Denver because it's a ballot initiative. And so I know I want to, and I know you want to get into the weeds on that as well,

because you mentioned before we started recording, that's the only thing you can talk about

at the moment because it's going on. But we're starting this new kind of thing. We're starting

what we call the top of the show with our guest, since Jasmine and I have been talking to

each other for 15 years,

so we're sick of it, and we would like a new perspective.

That's one of the reasons.

So we're going to start off with a few news items that we've been hearing about

and the people have sent us and maybe some frivolous things.
