Summary

100 BCE - 800 CE - The Nazca and the Moche were the two main cultures to emerge in the remnant of the Chavín. We will explore the incredible large geoglyphs that were created on the desert landscape and take a closer look at what the temple sites can tell us about the lifestyle of these people.

1:45.0	area of the world. They also developed irrigation skills which was the same thing
1:51.0	that the contemporary cultures of the near east had mastered, particularly
1:55.7	on the rivers of Mesopotamia.
1:58.8	The Nortichico are also called the Karal civilization after the main site of Karal. The Nortichico
2:05.8	civilization dispersed in the early second millennium B.C. The next concentration of
2:11.6	culture would come towards the end of the same millennium
