Yo, hey everyone, it's Adrienne here and this week's voice note is coming to you from the south of France.

So I'm here for a week. I'm coaching a wellness retreat for seven days. It's the end of day one and

the guests are all lovely. They've worked really, really hard today. So I'm sure we're all going to

sleep really well tonight. Voice note this week is going to be short and sweet. I've had a few messages from frustrated runners

who are injured, who are like, Adrian, I'm injured. What can I do? This is awful. I'm just, I'm fed up.

So first thing I'd say is, yes, injuries are incredibly frustrating.

So I hear you on that.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

You're human.

You're allowed to be frustrated.

It's all, you know, I'm all about gratitude, but it's also really annoying when people say,

oh, look on the bright side.

And you're like, this is how I feel right now.

You're allowed to feel frustrated.

But also, can you hear those birds?

Kind of distracting me. But also, just remember that in the moment, like this time right now,

say, for example, if a physio said to you, okay, you've got to be rest for six weeks. It feels like

such a long time. You're like, no way, six weeks. But actually, think about your entire year,

think about your entire life. Six weeks, it's not that long or whatever the time period is.

And it's better to completely rest and completely heal and be back at 100% than it is to rest

for a little bit. And then as soon as it starts feeling like 50% better, you're like, oh,
