Yo, here everyone. This week's voice notes is all about increasing your odds. So whatever it is

that you are working on, whatever you're trying to achieve, whatever the goal is, you have to

increase the odds to give yourself the best chance of success, the best chance of achieving.

And so what I mean by, you know, increasing the

odds is giving yourself a situation, an environment, setting things up to allow you to kind of make

the patterns and the behaviours and the choices that you want to make, making those super

easy, really easy so they're almost just autonomous, and then adding friction

to the things that you don't want to do and the behaviours you don't want to kind of make it

more difficult for yourself. So, quick example would be exercise. Maybe you want to stretch more

this week. You need to work on mobility. But, you know, it's like, oh, I don't

have time to stretch or, you know, you have to think, oh, where's my mat? And I need to, you know,

get some stuff on and roll the mat out and get a bottle of water and blah, blah, blah. Then you're like,

oh, I don't have time. Whereas actually, if you decide to be intentional and set that, set it up so that it's already there right ready for you, you're giving yourself, you're

increasing the odds that you're going to do it. So if you roll out a mat and you put a little

towel there and a little water bottle there and you decide, right, I'm going to leave that there,

just leave it there. And then every time you walk into that room, if it's in the living room,

if it's in the hallway, the bathroom, wherever, every time you walk into that room, you're like, okay, I'm just going to stretch for two minutes or three minutes or five minutes or whatever you have. Then actually,

just having it already laid out, that five minutes might become five minutes every day. And over

seven days, you've done 35, you've done half an hour of stretching. So therefore, you know,

you've made it easy for yourself to achieve success.

You're increasing the odds because you don't have to just even open the cupboard and take out
