Hey all, Joe here, and you are listening to Under the Influence.

The Very, very Ballerina Farm edition. Now, if you're already a subscriber to my

substack over the influence, you might have already listened to some of these clips. I kept

them behind the paywall for a little bit, but I really wanted to resurface this in a bigger

way because there's a lot of conversations going on about Ballerina Farm right now.

I recorded the first part of this episode inside the Ballerina Farm store, getting my first

impressions, the stuff that I ate, I'm hanging out in there with my friend Flannery,

who does not follow any social media influencers and had no idea who Hannah Nealman was when we went into this experiment.

Flannery is also the owner of another woman-owned bookshop, Bluebird and Co. Yeah, she's also amazing.

I only surround myself with amazing women these days, and it has changed my life for the better.

So the sound on this is going to be a little bit different because I'm literally just recording

while I'm wandering around the store and scarfing down one of the most delicious

egg sausage and cheese croissants that I've ever had.
