I'm doing great, Patrick. We're going to talk about vision, anti-vision, what those things are, why they're

important to have, and then by the end of the conversation,

hopefully give some tips as to how to begin to put those things into action

in our everyday lives.

Let's start with vision.

It is something that you and I've talked about a bit before,

but I want to do sort of an update.

When you say vision, when we say vision, as we get into this conversation, what do we mean by that word,

and maybe more importantly, what do we mean in terms of how we incorporate a vision into our

lives? Well, I think what we want to do in terms of vision of our own lives, and whether it's

a vision of our own lives or vision for a business or a vision for your family, here's what we

want to be able to do is lead ourselves. So in the terms of vision of our lives, we want to be,

we want to be able to lead our own lives. And in Stephen Covey of our lives, we want to be, we want to be able to lead our, our own lives.

And in Stephen Covey's words, is we want to begin with the end in mind.

So to continue to steal from other people, Jim Collins has really, I, this is something I think about all the time now, which is the number one responsibility

for a leader is to create a clear and compelling vision that is shared and acted upon by

all. So if we want to lead ourselves, we need to create a clear and compelling.

Two really important words there, clear.
