Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a new visa restriction policy.

It applies to foreign nationals in the U.S. who threatened to censor Americans or U.S. residents for social media posts.

Rubio called the officials who pushed for, quote,

global content moderation policies or engage who pushed for, quote, global content moderation policies

or engage in censorship activity, quote, unacceptable. It's unclear how the policy will be applied

and who will decide what amounts to censorship. CNN has reached out to the State Department for

further information. A federal judge ruled that Doge can access sensitive treasury payment systems because the

Trump administration created a process to train Doge staffers on handling the sensitive data.

Earlier this year, 19 states all with Democratic attorneys general, sued to block those from

accessing the systems.

The judge noted that the states didn't oppose

the Doge team's access to the systems as long as they receive proper training and prevent

private data from being improperly disclosed. A Treasury Department spokesperson declined to comment
