80 years ago, the world was at war.

In what we now know as World War II, a group of countries called the Axis powers were

fighting another group of countries called the Allied powers.

Germany was part of the Axis, and Germany's Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler, was marching his

troops across Europe, invading country after country.

This, justine, Hitler's Nazi Germany, has been invaded by Adolf Hitler.

The invaded or occupied countries came under control of Germany's ruthless police force,

the Gestapo.

The Gestapo rounded up and arrested countless people that suspected of going against the Nazi

party.

But the one person they wanted to catch most of all,

they simply could not find.

You see, this person was a secret agent, an Allied spy, but not just any.

Allied spy.

The woman who limps is one of the most dangerous Allied spies, a repeat one of the most dangerous

Allied spies.

They must find and destroy her.

The woman who limps was actually an American named Virginia Hall.

And as we're about to hear, this fearless female risked life and limb to gather secret

information, save countless lives, and run circles around the Nazis, all on one foot.
