In summer 2021, more than two dozen women from across the United States got together

to achieve an ambitious goal.

All right, ladies, listen up.

Starting today, we are traveling through every single state except Hawaii and Alaska.

And we're doing it on our motorcycles.

Ride would be tough and grueling with a high chance of accidents and mechanical difficulties.

Not to mention bitter cold in the mountains and sweltering heat in the desert.

But these women didn't care because they were paying tribute to another female motor

cyclist who did the exact same thing they were doing.

Only she crisscrossed the country 100 years ago and she did it eight times.

What's more, she did it while riding solo, female and black.
