My God, we've just got to done it again.

Everton can spend millions, millions and millions and millions on new stadiums,

and they can have TIFOs with dodgy photoshops and AI in them all they want, but they remain Everton Football Club to their core, constantly finding and reinventing the most Everton way to lose a football match.

The first Merseyside Derby at the new stadium, having, having you know won their draw in the last game

of gooderson park feeling positive about it I'm sure they were really feeling like they could get

the better of a Liverpool side who have floundered and struggled at times and also went through the

exertions and heartbreak against paris and gamin the week. They will have thought this is their time,

this is their chance, this is the first step on a path to them becoming more,

to them bettering themselves,

than being something different to the maybe recovering sense of what they were

and what they used to be in the 1980s when they were, you know,

the second best team in England.

But not yet, not this season.

Just something wonderfully delicious about getting the first Merseyside Derby win at the new stadium,

hopefully the first of many.

And, you know, it is the last hurrah for so many of those footballers.

The last Mergeside Derby from O'Sala. Fantastic to see him score another great goal. Wonderful pass from Cody Gapo. I thought he had a pretty good game, all told. And in fact, we struggled a bit when we moved him Central and then took him off the pitch. But yeah, fabulous vision we made him. Great finish from Mo Saler. equal and Stephen Gerrard's record of nine goals in Merseyside Derby's the most of any Liverpool player.

I mean, once again, puts him into just some absolutely stellar company in the history of a stupendous football club that is Liverpool.

If you are breaking or matching records that this football club is set,

then you are among the best players ever to play the game.

That's just simply what it is to be at Liverpool.
