Well, hello, we are back with a new name. The podcast is now called Violet in Hidden Heritage.

And I couldn't be happier to be back after such a long time away. I think my wedding last year and a joyful, slightly relentless and busy year at Heritage Explore had something to do with it. But we are back with a bang.

Firstly, thank you all so much for your patience. So many of you have messaged asking when the podcast would return, which honestly means more than you know, Hidden Heritage has

always felt like a conversation I wasn't finished having. And so hence why we're back in earnest

early in 2026 and now feels like the right moment to pick it back up. So much is happening in the

world of heritage. You'll remember the original format. I would invite a guest

on and throughout our conversation, they would share their three favorite historic places or

spaces. And it worked really well. It revealed so much about them through the places that they

chose. But I've decided to evolve that instead we're widening the lens of conversation. Hidden Heritage is, and kind of always will be, conversations about life, identity and the pull that some people feel towards heritage. It's hosted, of course, by me. And this series will explore the lives of those shaped, influenced, or just

simply drawn to heritage. Some guests that you'll see feature on the show grew up in historic

houses, as I did, some work behind the scenes preserving them, and others simply fell in love

with old places and found that fascination shaping the course of their lives.
