Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome.

I'm Karen Hunter and this is Women's History Month.

But if you know me, you know that every day is Women's History Month, just like every day is Black History Month,

but just like every day is Indigenous People's Day, every damn day is Women's History Month, just like every day is Black History Month, but just like every day is Indigenous People's Day.

Every damn day is Kwanza because I don't think that we do enough to celebrate people.

We don't.

There's a very negative world that we're in, and I hope in this space I get to be as positive as I am.

I want to encourage everybody who's listening to live

their best lives, to be their best selves. And I also want to remind us that it's all possible.

We don't have to live in a world that is so chaotic. We can have the world that we want to live in.

And it starts with really all of us taking stock of ourselves and making that a mission individually.

Every day, commit yourself to being a little bit better than you were yesterday and making the world a little bit better.

It's really not hard.

So I want to celebrate today somebody who has done the work.

And I know she's done the work because I read her book.

Okay. And I actually got to interview her. Before I read her book. Okay. And I actually got to interview her

before I read her book. I wish she had the book. Actually, when I interviewed Viola Davis, she was on a

press junket with Denzel Washington and the entire cast of Fences. And I actually did a town hall,

which went viral, by the way. I did a town hall at Sirius XM with the entire cast.

I did a town hall, the viral part, I asked Denzel Washington a question about culture.

And he went on this rant, which was amazing. And it was interesting meeting Denzel Washington
