Summary

Initially, Tim Nybo, Co-Founder of Vincero Watches, had moved to China after college with his co-founders to learn about manufacturing. They weren't even focused on watches. They had just come upon watches by chance; they didn't even know how hot the market was getting here in the states. But they decided to jump in 100% and learn as much as possible along the way. It was this attitude of "going all in" and "willingness to learn new things" that has helped them make Vincero Watches into a premium DTC lifestyle brand.

In Part 1 of this feature, Tim discusses Why can't do entrepreneurship with 50% effort, Why not having the infrastructure for growth was a mistake, Why you should choose co-founders who compliment your strengths and who you enjoy, Why part of business is having a plan A, B, C (regarding China Tariffs), Why "once they click, you must exceed expectations", Why they design products with feedback from their loyalty program, Why their demo consists of people who are ambitious and on the road to success, What the "person to person" concept is and why it's so important to Vincero, What the DTC concept really means to brands, and so much more.

Join us while Ramon Vela interviews Tim in Part 1 of this episode and listen to him share the inside story of a brand.
