I'm the host Scott Feinberg and today my guest is one of the funniest comedy actors

of all time, who this year has reminded many of us that he's also very adept at drama, the great Vince Vaughn.

The 46 year old first crossed the radar of many film buffs more than two decades ago as a straight-faced

motor-mouthed manchild in Swingers, the 1996 L.A. Set comedy

written by and co-starring his friend John Favreau. He would go on to play

variations of that comedic persona in some of the most popular comedies of the 21st century,

including 2003's Old School, 2004's Dodgeball A True Underdog Story, and Starski and Hutch,

and 2005's wedding crashes.

While he's continued to make comedies of varying quality in the years since, he's also

increasingly gravitated toward dramatic parts.

First with a powerful turn in the 2006 dramedy the breakup

then with a small part in Sean Penn's 2007 drama into the wild and later in

2015 second season of True Detective on HBO.

In 2016 he gave one of his best performances yet in Mel Gibson's massively acclaimed drama,
