So I do think that O'Connell backed off last year, that he backed off all the trick plays after the

totally disastrous, uh, end around in Jacksonville. I don't remember him calling too many

trick plays after that. So he may have gotten the hint that he's not going to be Ben Johnson or

Dan Campbell with those trick plays.

But yeah, that's a, that is a pretty lukewarm take.

Mama says Caleb Williams will be considered a bust in a couple years.

The thing is that I think that would have been a really hot take at the end of last year or at the beginning of last year.

And I probably would have said like, oh, come on, you know, even though I wasn't the highest on him coming out, like, you know, that's, that's pretty hot.

Things are not trending in a great direction.

And usually it takes about three years to figure it out for sure.

But we're going to get a really good sense this year.

I think it's very possible that with better coaching and better supporting cast, Williams will be good, but not great.

That's where I would land him in the, if I were to guess, like on the spectrum of all things

Caleb Williams could become, is he like a Jordan love where, yeah, I mean, he could get hot

against you and then you are screwed. Like, he could just win a game with his arm because he's so

talented. But there's always going to be enough boneheadedness, mistakes, sacks,
