Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of Purple Insider, Matthew Collar here.

And we have reached the point in the off season where I'm going to tell you the truth.

The news is not so hot out there, which means what I would like to do on the show tonight is turn up

the heat a little bit in the comment section. So before I get into the one news item that we

have regarding the Minnesota Vikings, and then a list that I made to celebrate five years

of Purple Insider. And then later on this evening, we introduce a new intern to the mix,

which would be pretty fun later on tonight. I want hot takes. I want your hot 2025

Minnesota Vikings or NFL opinions. Opinions that you think are either pretty spicy or that

if you went into a bar and you're talking with your

buddies and you said, you know what, guys, I think this is going to happen this year, that they

would be like, whoa, dog, let's calm down. How about some takes like that for the comment

section? And then I can react and tell you maybe one to 10 how spicy you are or just how

crazy you're being. But the one news item for

today is that the Minnesota Vikings made it official that they will be hosting a joint

practice with the New England Patriots. And this is something that the Vikings under Kevin

O'Connell have really seemed like they enjoy doing.

Remember last year, we talked a ton about the Cleveland Browns joint practice that was on the road.

Actually, now we've got some news here coming in from Tom Pelliserro about the updated language on proposals from the Packers and Lions.

So we'll get to that in just a minute, too, and your takes.

That's interesting that the owners are having a meeting here in Minneapolis,

not one that media is going to or having a big presence at, like the owner's meetings

in Florida.
