First up, Pete Sweeney talks to Robin Mack about why 2017 will be the year commercial drones

will really take off.

So Robin, commercial drones have been of high interest to consumers in recent years.

There's been some companies making a lot of money in this sector.

What do you see is coming up for the industry next year?

So the market today is very dominated by consumer, tech enthusiasts, and hobbyists.

This year, there have been a lot of legislation in different countries that will allow companies

like Amazon to do things like use small drones to deliver packages.

So the hope is that when these different rules and regulations are finalized, then more businesses

and companies can start using drones.

Well, so has there been a big hold-up from the legislation front, or has it been...

Yeah, so that's mainly been one of the biggest obstacles, because legally this is very untested.

So right now, Amazon just recently trialed its first drone delivery, but they

had to do it in the United Kingdom because the United States just doesn't have the type of

laws that would allow them to do something like this.
