but to do either. Just as you have little discretion in enforcing the laws of the state of Texas, I'm left five and

half years after Paris murdered Ella, with little discretion but to follow the dictate

of both my conscience and my heart, and speak the words I still have a hard time

I cannot sit up here and tell the court how my son's decision to murder Ella has made me suffer.
