He's going to take part in high-stakes talks with Iran this weekend alongside Special En Steve Wickoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. If the Iranians are willing to negotiate in good faith, we're certainly willing to extend the open hand. If they're going to try to play us, then they're going to find that the negotiating team is not that receptive. The ceasefire remains tenuous at best right now. Very few ships are passing through

the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia was struck on Wednesday, and perhaps

the most major sticking point what is going on in Lebanon. Israel wants direct talks with Lebanon

on disarming Hezbollah and insists Lebanon is not part of the temporary ceasefire deal,

but Iran maintains that it is.

Israel and Hezbollah have continued to exchange strikes,

as Hezbollah says it launched a new attack on Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon this morning.
