Hello and welcome to the Veterans Day

25 episode of the Derek Hunter show.

I am Dean Carriannis, your guest host, and it's my honor to be with you here today.

Derek always tells me to do whatever I want. The show is mine. I can do my own show. I can do a political show. I can play some

clips. I could read recipes out of my cookbook, which for some reason, Derek, at my former Rush Limbaugh,

the TV show and radio show, buddy James Golden,

Bose nerdly, likes to bring up when I go on his WABC show out of the Blow Torch Station in

Midtown Manhattan is my cookbook.

They like to talk about regional Greek cooking and some reason.

And then I have my politics friends tell me and former candidates I work

for. One in particular will tell me, stop having them talk about that. That's not important.

You want to be the politics and history guy. You're not the Greek guy. And then I point to my

last name and say, well, I'm kind of branded with that for life. Too late to change my name now,

I'll use the one that late to change my name now.

I'll use the one that showed up on my birth certificate.

Get the funny stuff, I guess, out of the way first, because I do want to talk about Veterans Day.

This is the day that we honor the service of those who survived conflicts.

I noticed that when people say, I'm sure you have too well, they gave their lives.

In fact, this is something President Obama said, which since he relied on this teleprompter for those speeches,

he wasn't an extemporaneous guy.

He can't really speak extemporaneously without a bunch of stumbles.

But they made that mistake that a lot of them were there.
