And the So, Hello everyone. Welcome. Thank you for joining us this evening on the Winter Solstice. I hope that you've all had a happy and

hopeful solstice and transition moment into the new year. I'm going to be facilitating this evening's

conversation. My name is Lou Kornum. Just a bit about me. I was born in Arizona

into the Navajo Nation and I am also a member of the Red Nation.

I am chairperson of the East Coast Freedom Council.

So I'm speaking to you this evening from Lenape Hoking,

otherwise known as New York City.

And we are here tonight to discuss Venezuela.

We're going to be talking about the Bolivarian

Revolution, the effects of blockades and sanctions on Venezuelan life and politics and

here's well about the recent legislative elections that took place in Venezuela,

where a couple of our speakers were recently present in the role of observer.

So first breakdown of the Eve dig, I'm just going to introduce very briefly our speakers and then

turn it over to them to offer individual remarks.

So after we've heard some observations and analysis we can open it up into a wider discussion.
