Protests by ruling party and opposition supporters expected to take place in the wake of a disputed election victory.

How disputed? The winner, President Maduro says that he received 51% of the vote. The opposition,

Corinum Machado declared that her candidate Gonzales received 70% of the vote.

Adding in the minor candidates, we come up with 132% of the

vote. Not good arithmetic. I welcome Allison Fadurka of the geopolitical futures, my guide on these matters, writing of

Venezuela, and the fact that Maduro, the president, is the head of an organization that requires constant attention from outside

that would be Russian Cuba and Nicaragua and other players in South America and

support of the bosses within.
