It was just a phenomenal finish to the world baseball classic as Venezuela beat the United States 3 to 2,

and we didn't get the outcome we were looking for, but boy, what a tremendous sporting event and tournament this was over the last,

a little bit less than two weeks.

And I guess our headline here is Trump has made Venezuela great again.

That's just the only takeaway there is.

And if you don't think they were running on fumes and emotion and the things that

have happened in their homeland, their home country since Trump extracted Maduro and the hope for

freedom and for oppression to be gone and an economy for all that may work for people of

Venezuela, if you don't think this has been on the mind of these players,

the easiest way to tell this was a really big deal to these players,

is ask yourself why we just watched the Olympics,

where every reporter everywhere asked the United States about Trump and the things Trump does and the USA policies and ICE and, you know, all the

different things, the million questions.

Ask yourself this.

Why did those same reporters not ask the Venezuelan players over and over and over what

they think of Trump and what they think of Maduro being in jail in New York?

Where were all those stories?

Did I miss those? Did I miss the players that were anti-Trump for Venezuela saying, we can't believe he has Maduro set him free? Did I miss

the guys in the batting cage warming up before the events each day saying free Maduro? I don't
