this adventure together. Oh, Welcome back. When we last left our story, Patrick had been miraculously healed from tuberculosis and ordained a priest.

He was intent on spreading devotion to Our Lady to the whole world, and today we'll find out just how he did it.

Father Patrick's first assignment as a priest was in Albany, New York.

Though he had been miraculously healed from tuberculosis, he remained weak and was unable to go on the foreign missions his heart had been set on.

The joy he felt as a priest was more than he had ever hoped for.

Each day he prayed asking how to repay his debt to marry, asking

how he could bring as many people as he could to her son. And on the last Sunday in January 1942, his prayer was

answered. Patrick knelt by his bed, praying during a day of recollection with his fellow Holy Cross priests.

It was mid-morning, and the snow drifted down sleepily around him.

He watched the flakes softly fall, his mind wandering to the fallen men in the war.

Lord, I kneel before you in the peace of this seminary, and I so ardently desire an end

to this terrible war for the men on the front lines to be given the same peace from you.

Yes, Jesus, we need more than just an end to this war.
