don't know many facts about her life. St. Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians,

and she is often depicted in art with a harp, violin, or other musical instrument. Our story

today begins in a luxurious ancient Roman residence.

St. Cecilia is preparing for her wedding to a pagan nobleman by the name of Valerian.
