That's right. I mean, the first half was very ugly defensively, especially. The heels

were not ready for the back cuts that were being thrown at them. They weren't ready for such

a deliberate style of play. They weren't accustomed to defending that long each possession.

And you can tell that that's what opened up a lot of those opportunities against them,

very easy shots.

And you could tell Hubert Davis was frustrated.

I mean, it was not until the end of that first half when Carolina went to some traps.

They forced a couple of turnovers. Jonathan Powell made a great steal and finish.

And I think that's in part why he got the start in the second half.

Hubert wants defensive intensity. He got it the second half. Even though they didn't force a ton of turnovers,
