She called us on Thursday with this story.

I got suspicious of my boyfriend and my best friend because I noticed that they seem to be talking to each other more.

And then I'd come up and they just kind of changed the topic.

I ended up seeing a text message on his phone from her that said something like,

oh, are you alone? So then

I reprogrammed his phone

so that if he was going to text her, it would come

to my cell phone. And then throughout

the whole course of the day, I got

like three or four texts in a row from him

that made it abundantly clear that they were planning a birthday party for me.

Last night, I got the urgent text that said, we've got to change the location,

email everybody.

So the problem is I never got a chance to change the number back.

And now my friend doesn't know to change the restaurant.

Doomed.

She is doomed.

Well, I think she's only doomed because I think of the advice you guys gave her.

Doomed.

And that was to go to the office and steal the cell phone. Nobody gets away with that. Well, we thought maybe she could bring breakfast. I thought Jeff painted a great scenario. Bring in some donuts or something for the whole office or whatever.
