Like there was no arguing with what dad had to say. You know, he laid the ground rules. He was the disciplinarian. That was the way it goes. And that's the way that it's been my whole life, right? Damn, that must have been nice to live, to be a dad in that period. I mean, old school dads. But I say goes, yes, sir. Yeah. All you said was yes, sir, or, you know, go to your room. I mean, there was no arguing. There's no negotiation. Right. And the rules in my house growing up, you know. And my mom. If you tried, you mean, even trying. No, it was just the raised eyebrow. And then that was all you needed was that look. Oh, you're talking? You run. Yeah. Then you run away. If policy was going to get changed at all, it was probably going to go through the mom who would talk to the dad and try to make things. But you could never do that one-on-one. Oh, no. And it has been in the midst of planning the birthday party for my mom's 60th birthday.

And it is the first time in my entire life.
