Hey guys, this is Jacques. Welcome back to On Popular. We are talking about two shows today. We're talking about Van der Pruelstah, of course,

and HBO's The Idol, two very, very good shows that I have the definitive correct takes on.

So you don't need to listen to anybody else's opinions on these shows. It's right here. Everyone

else is wrong. Let's get into it. I had a rough start to the day because my coffee was messed up

at the cafe I went to and I had to leave the whole cafe. I was just like, I can't. Um, you're starting

your day with a coffee. That's a really big thing. Like that actually sets the tone for the day.

And I wanted to have a coffee at home before I met my friend at the cafe and I'm like, no, I'm going to save it for the cafe. So I wanted to have a coffee at home before I met my friend at the cafe. And I'm like,

no, I'm going to save it for the cafe. So I'm thinking about this coffee before I get there. And then the waitress that like owns the place or whatever, the, whatever, the lady that owns a cafe, like I kind of know her because I come in there and like she seemed to be like shocked. Like, wait, why is he leaving already? Like, did we do something wrong? But, you know, I'm not someone

that's going to come up and go, I actually, no, I really didn't like the coffee. So I'm just like, you know, everything's fine. And she's like, oh my God, is you anything wrong? I'm like, nothing. It's all good. Bye. And then I go to the next cafe to meet my friend and I order my coffee and I'm like let's be real

specific with this and I said can I get an ice long black please in a small glass with um you

know some milk on the side because usually I'll like pour the milk in and they're like fine and

then what do they bring me they bring me a huge ice long black with no milk. And I'm just like,

fuck this. Like, this is ridiculous. Like, even if you specify exactly what you want, they still

can't get it right. But that's country living. That's just fucking what I've had to get used to

living here, not being in a city where they know how to make a decent cup of coffee.

The Van der Pond Rules reunion, it concluded, I'm not going to go over, like, and then he said this, and then she said that, and then he said that, because I mean, you've all watched it, okay? But I'm going to talk about some stuff to do with this. And, you know, I had a few takes on it, and then people were getting me confused about what I actually think about the show because, you know, you tweet something and then there's only so many characters

and people never really understand you.

They project their own kind of thoughts and feelings onto your tweet.

So I like to have a big platform like this where I can, you know, do a 25-minute rant on

Van derPont rules and really articulate the nuance of

this show. So, um, first of all, you Bravo fans are so stupid and gullible for falling for that

big mystery teaser about like the bombshell. Of course, that was just to get you to watch part
