Hello everyone welcome back to my solo road. This is Sydney. It's my podcast. Coming to you from the land of Bend, Oregon, where there is no clean hair anywhere in sight and it's super difficult to breathe. This is the first time in three years that I have called my parents and been like hi it's not that fun

to live in a van right now I've been through a million things in the last few years that

have kind of tested whether or not I truly loved van life and I've just never

I've never really questioned it I've always been like yeah this is for me love this

and while I'm not doubting this being for me it just is like it sucks you live in a van because you want to be

outside and spend time in nature and go to dog parks and the beach and this and that or

do whatever and like camping is not fun I wake up in the middle of the night with a headache and obviously a huge giant component of living in a van is the fact that I can just get in it and leave and go find cleaner air.

However, I am working on my van right now.

Nothing is wrong with it.

It's thriving.

We are thriving.

It's doing fine.

But I found a builder who was willing to work with me.

I am going to do some work on social media for him,

not in terms of like posting or like marketing him, if will but I'm going to do some back-end

stuff for their social media and work for him and he is going to help me with my

van and give me a really good deal on that.

And so I'm getting new countertops and we're getting rid of the induction stove.

My plumbing has been messed up for a good long second now and so we kind of figured out this really good

trade-dees and I just kind of don't want to burn that opportunity.

Obviously if I think that it's getting unsafe for me or the dogs then I am

bouncing out of here because nothing is worth that.
