In October of 2023, we shared the story of Derek Tank Evans Jr., who disappeared in

Baldas to Georgia on or about November 7, 2020.

His mother, Tamara, was struggling then to gain attention for his case and to maintain

contact with law enforcement.

Though she had received tips, she was unsure whether they were being fully

followed up on, and rumors in the community, they were swirling. Now, more than a year later,

Tamra still finds herself in the same position. She and her family have conducted numerous searches.

They've sought out evidence, and they've even been contacted by private groups

who are offering to help, but they still have not found Tank and those responsible for his

disappearance and for what Tamara believes to be his likely murder have not been charged.
