Stocks lower at the open the S&P 500 down a quarter percent

or four points to 2017. Dow Jones industrial average down about two tenths

percent or 28 points to 17,185 The NASDAQ's down 3.10 percent or 14 points to 4734.

Ten-year Treasury up 6.30 seconds. The yield 1.96 percent, yield on the 2 year 0.95 percent.

Nimex crude oil down 2.9 percent or $1.12 to 3739 a barrel.

Comex gold is little changed down 60 cents to 1258 90 an ounce.
