Hello everyone and welcome to Talk Nurdy. Today is Monday, July 4th, 2022 and I'm the host of the show

Kara Santa Maria and here in the US July 4th is our Independence Day, so happy Independence Day, and may

you not be afraid of fireworks, because if you live anywhere like LA, you're going to be here in them all night.

I'm very lucky that my dog is not afraid of them, but I'm unlucky in that I have a very big

surgery in the morning.

Yes, I'm recording this ahead of time,

so I'm time traveling a little bit,

but I wanted to talk to you guys about a little bit of news today.

Before I do that, though, I did want to thank those of you who make Talk Nurdy possible each and every week.

I want to thank my top patrons and I do this in order of the tiers that individuals commit to for the show.
