0:04.2	Today, we're revisiting our episode on vaccines.
0:07.7	Because… well…
0:10.2	The CDC says the number of measles cases being reported is close to the danger zone.
0:15.4	There are now 704 cases in 22 states that is the highest number since the disease was
0:21.5	declared eradicated in the US back in 2000.
0:24.9	That's right.
0:25.9	The US measles outbreak just hit a peak.
0:29.3	The number of cases is the highest it's been in the last 25 years.
0:34.0	And this is so scary because measles is airborne when you cough, when you breathe, it can spread.
0:41.0	And that means it can spread fast.
0:44.1	Last week in California, just one person with measles walked into a university library
0:49.5	and that led to more than 600 people being quarantined.
0:53.6	And one of the biggest reasons this is happening is the anti-vaccination movement, which is now
0:58.5	a game steam all over the world.
1:02.2	The current outbreak has been linked to around 40 unvaccinated travelers who visited countries
1:07.7	with their own measles outbreaks, countries like Israel, Ukraine and the Philippines.
1:13.9	And in the US, in some communities, vaccination rates have dropped so low that measles is
1:19.2	starting to spread to people with vulnerable immune systems, like babies too young to be vaccinated
1:24.8	and the elderly.
1:26.4	With all this going on, we wanted to share an episode with you that we did a while back
