I'm Mama Jules, and we have a theme in today's episode, three stories of family tragedy.

Three stories where you are left wondering if someone could have just stepped in and prevented the deaths of three people and the abuse of two others.

So let's start out in Utah.

Okay, you guys, I've been waiting to cover this case out of Saratoga Springs, Utah, because

I was feeling pretty confident they would make an arrest.

But then the weeks just drug on. No arrest, and those weeks have turned into months,

and now the months have accumulated to almost a full year of no definitive answers in the

deaths of 8-year-old Eli Painter and his mother, 44-year-old Jessica Lyman.

But there is new information via court documents, and it's been released kind of by dribbles

over the last few weeks. So we're going to do it. Here we go. There's no arrest,

but hopefully one coming soon. Saratoga Springs, Utah is a booming bedroom community.

It's on the west side of Utah Lake, about 30 miles south of Salt Lake City.

Now, my daughter Peyton actually lived in Saratoga Springs for a couple of years.

She was right there on Utah Lake, and it's beautiful.

But the infrastructure is trying to play catch up with the massive growth

in residential single family homes and also apartment complexes and townhomes. So why is there
