2022 as I record this. In today's Inbetweenisode, I have a discussion with author, artist, and book cover

designer Derek Murphy, about options around AI art. So make sure to have a look at the show notes and the transcript as I

So I started using AI generated art earlier in the year to pair with my e-book special edition

NFTs on OpenC.

If you go to JFPen.com forward slash NFTs, so NFTS, you'll find some of my images generated

with a tool based on Dahl E, which was enclosed beta but is now open to everyone.

And you can just go to openaI.com and it will take you

through to the Dolly 2 engine and you can just, you get a certain number of images for free and then

you can pay for more. So definitely worth a play. I've also been having a go with Mid Journey,

which creates some beautiful art. derrick says dolly two is

smarter and more exact but mid-journey has some beautiful beautiful images so dolly two is definitely

easier to use so i suggest you start there and mid-journey's a little more complicated but

if you want to get into it it's

very interesting so there are obviously problems and controversies which i discuss with

derrick including the fact that these models are trained on human artists work and while the

output is not plagiarism because it's not directly copying, many think artists should be compensated
