Do you ever feel like meditation just feels like another to do and not something you have the effort for.

Do you ever find that you just want to veg out, but you know scrolling through your phone or watching TV is not going to be the healthiest way to do that?

Welcome to useless window gazing.

Yes, it is exactly what it sounds like.

Sitting down, looking out a window,

gazing into nothingness for no purpose at all.

Ah, I feel more relaxed just thinking about it.

Now I can't take credit for this revolutionary technique.

This is something talked about by the meditation teacher

Michelle McDonald.

And it's a great way to just settle the nervous system and start to process and integrate and discharge some of this accrued emotion, tension that doesn't get the chance to integrate and pass

because we're often so much in a doing mode.

And yes, meditation can be helpful for this.

Very helpful, especially a long-term practice

really gets us to a place where we can process things quickly

and let them come and let them pass.

Kind of like wind moving through a screen.
