Our guest today are Stephanie Valdez Streedy, Director of Industry Insights at Cox Automotive,

We spoke about how new EVs sales declined in April, but used EVs sales grew, a nearly 17% increase

from the same time last year.

There's a lot of choice at a really good price point.

If you look at the price difference between a used EV and a used gas, it's less than $1,000.

So we're getting to Christparity.

Hannah, welcome back. You're back from parental leave. How has it been being back at Automotive News?

Hi, Molly. Thanks. It's been great. I've been back for a while, actually, about two months, but you haven't seen me. I've been behind the scenes really diving right in at Automotive News.

This week, we launched a big trade series on the state of auto trade with the USMCA review coming up.

And that'll extend for three weeks that series. So really diving into that and a bunch of other things.

It's been a great return. Yes. And among those other

things was last week's leading women conference, which was a huge success as always. And you

moderated a panel at the conference, future-proofing your career and setting yourself apart in the age of

AI. So what did you learn from that conversation? Yeah, it was a really good one. Leading

women is always a really energizing and engaging event. A lot of connections are made there.

It's a really strong network of women in the industry. So this panel was about AI, and our panelists

were Shelley Pratt from Nissan, Lisa Gandy from Kettering University,
