Our guest today is Andrew Chapin, chief operating officer at Nero.

The company is partnering with Lucid and Uber on a Robotaxi venture.

He spoke to our own Molly Boygan about why he's not concerned about the competition

leveraging the same Uber platform to commoditize Robotaxies.

This is just such a hard problem that so many folks have tried and failed at over the years

that there is going to be a very small number of providers in the end that crossed that

threshold into scaled, safe, commercialized robo-taxie services.

But first, let's talk about the week.

For that, I'm joined by my colleague Molly, Tech and Innovation reporter at Automotive News, and co-host of the Shift podcast.

So, Molly, the big news this week is about Stalantis, the $70 billion turnaround strategy.

What does the automaker have planned for that?

So Stalantis made an announcement at its investor day about a $70 billion

investment through 2030. It's a new strategic plan that's basically aligned to the company's

turnaround. A significant percentage of that is going to North America. So it'll be a 60%

investment in North America. And Stalantis is planning 60 new or redesigned vehicles.

39 of those are internal combustion engine vehicles.

So that's the majority.

And then 29 electric vehicles, 24 hybrids and 15 plug-in hybrids or extended range EVs.

Yeah. So a big variety in power train there.
