Central Indiana, once again, proving they are the epicenter of the sports world, or at least trying to be.

This has been on the template for a few days.

We just didn't get to it.

Noblesville, selected as the future home of USA Gymnastics, their new Training and Wellness Center and also national office headquarters.

They announced this on September 23rd.

The center is going to be

built in Innovation Mile, which is a 600-acre development along Interstate 69, already home to

the arena where the Indiana Pacers NBA G League team plays. So this new facility, it's going to host

the national team camps, educational workshops, community outreach events, and also competition.

And it's going to serve as a training hub for Olympic level athletes, also some youth development programs.

There was a little bit of a competition there, whether they were going to pick

Westfield or Frisco, Texas. And they decided to go with Noblesville and Mayor Christensen.

He said the facility is going to foster Olympic dreams and community involvement and

equip athletes with the tools and training needed to compete on the global scale.

Who's paying for it?

It's always the question, right?

What sort of tax abatements did USA gymnastics get to build in Noblesville?

I'm sure there was some sort of sweetheart deal cut to lure them there.

But this goes back to what we talk about all the time.
